Using COMSOL Multiphysics software, I created a computational model to simulate blood flow through embryonic mouse hearts. My model provides insight into how the congenital heart defect, persistent truncus arteriosus, impacts blood pressure and wall shear stresses on the myocardial walls of the ventricles. From my model, I plan to help the scientific community better understand the abnormal morphogenesis of hearts suffering from congenital defects.

I utilized software including WebCTRL and Analytika to analyze and detect various energy inefficiencies in real time across Bucknell University's campus. I worked to implement sustainable energy practices into the design of the Freeman College of Management/ Art and Art History Building.

In this program, I learned a great deal about sustainability. I worked with 11 other peers on various projects relating to triple bottom line. For example, I led a team to design and pitch at 10 kW residential solar array to a resident in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Additionally, I gained experience in consulting through working with a used tire recycling company by helping them to integrate triple bottom line into their geographical expansion plans.
