Currently serving as the Staff Judge Advocate for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. In this role, I serve as senior legal counsel to the AFNWC Commander who is dual-hatted as the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Strategic Systems. AFNWC is responsible for the life cycle management of nuclear weapons systems supporting two legs of the nation’s nuclear triad, including intercontinental ballistic missiles; air launched cruise missiles; gravity bombs; and nuclear command, control, and communications systems. AFNWC is also responsible for integrating Air Force Materiel Command’s nuclear material management support of Air Force Global Strike Command and United States Air Forces in Europe.

Served as Staff Judge Advocate and Chief of Staff to the Office of the Defense Representative-Pakistan at the U.S. Embassy, Islamabad, Pakistan. In this role, I served as senior legal advisor at ODRP and for associated units supporting Operations FREEDOM'S SENTINEL and RESOLUTE SUPPORT. As Chief of Staff, I served as the primary staff officer to the dual-hatted one-star Senior Defense Official/Defense Attache and oversaw daily administrative matters. The position involved drafting of diplomatic notes and agreements in coordination with inter-agency partners in pursuit of national and regional objectives.

Served as Staff Judge Advocate to CONR-1AF (AFNORTH) at Tyndall AFB, Florida. This unit conducts homeland defense and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations. CONR ensures the air defense and sovereignty of the continental US, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. 1AF (AFNORTH) is also the designated air component command to USNORTHCOM whose area of responsibility includes the continental US, Alaska, Canada and Mexico and its air, land, and maritime approaches. The command comprises four direct reporting units, 10 aligned ANG units and a number of active air defense alert sites, including aircraft, air defense artillery and up to 15,000 Active Duty, National Guard, AF Reserve and civilian personnel.
