Served as an SME to configure, customize, and integrate solutions on the City Innovate suite as it relates to document process automation, service portal, help desk management, manuals, feature enhancements, and other IT-related procurement consulting needs for the California Department of Technology’s Technology Modernization Fund (TMF). Created business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and Access Control Lists (ACL). Performed daily administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of any issues arising in the City Innovate environment. Create architectural assessments by researching, analyzing, and distilling information from multiple sources and perspectives. Serve as a liaison with the business to understand their business processes so analysis can be done to meet the business needs through technology and processes. Process and track customer requests for architectural services. Work with business and technology teams to identify optimal solutions to meet business goals. Elicits high-level requirements and desired business outcomes from customers and stakeholders to develop business cases. Work with subject matter experts to complete a thorough impact analysis. Document processes and determine ways to improve process efficiency. Document and validate current and future architectures from the business, information, application, and infrastructure viewpoints, to facilitate the design and deployment of technology solutions across the organization. Develop and manage architecture roadmaps and work with stakeholders to guide implementation. Develop current, target, and future transition architectures. Participate in reviewing IT policy and methodology information included in all drafted IT-related contract materials, such as Scope of Work (SOW), Request for Offer (RFO), Request for Proposal (RFP), Software Licensing Program (SLP) documentation, and other procurement or contracting mechanisms.

Founding cohort member for the Global Alliance for Ethics and Impact of AI & Advanced Technologies (GAEIA), developed by the Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Stanford University and Digital Transformation Hub (DxHub) at California Polytechnic State University, SLO. Gained experience on the identification and examination of ethical risks and social impacts associated with technology as part of a global research project. Collaborated in international and cross-disciplinary teams to examine globally nuanced risks and opportunities associated with technology and developed and/or peer-reviewed ethical dilemmas relevant to their field of study. Engaged with industry, academic, and government leaders. Proposed new ethical dilemmas utilizing the GAEIA template and/or peer review and contribute to existing ethical dilemma research. Created or contributed to other sharable documentation (case study, blog post, podcast, research paper etc.) describing research related to the responsible use of technology. Improve the development of roadmaps regarding data policies, standards, and methodologies. Provide consultation and knowledge transfer on processes and procedures to consistently utilize international policies, standards, and methodologies. Ensured that proposed international policies comply with relevant laws and regulations, advised on necessary amendments, and facilitated clear communication of policies to promote understanding and adherence.
