At NHDES I conducted CALPUFF/CALPOST tests, a visibility modeling program being used to determine which facilities in the eastern United States need to be improved. I created excel spreadsheets for decades of emission data and presented them in a neat and organized way. I also created intricate formulas that turn complex five and six step calculations into.

I worked alongside the Environmental Engineer in a 120 hour internship where I spent my time carrying out field work. This field work included; surveying, GPS mapping, surface water assessment, air quality monitoring, and waste water monitoring. I also spent time carrying out office duties which included topographic mapping, data input and GIS mapping.

I participated in a job shadow/internship with a Conservation Officer at the New Hampshire Fish and Game department. Here, I spent my time in a ride along with the officer, recorded observations about the daily duties, took part in professional meetings, sat in on interviews relating to cases, and took part in a missing persons search.
