Maxwell Alexander Drake is an award-winning Science Fiction and Fantasy novelist, former Lead Fiction Writer for Sony's EverQuest Next, playwright, and creator of the animated shows Fiend Folly and GUARDS! (www.FiendFolly.com). The first novel of his Genesis of Oblivion Saga, Farmers & Mercenaries, was released in June of 2009 and won both a 2009 Moonbeam Fantasy Award for Excellence in Literature and was named Dragon Roots Magazine’s Best New Fantasy Saga of 2009.Drake also teaches creative writing classes all over the world at fan events (including being the only writer to teach 13 years in a row for San Diego Comic Con), writers’ conferences, book festivals, universities, and high schools, as well as for the Clark County Library System in Las Vegas since 2009.
