As an Eagle Scout and Morehead-Cain Scholar, I am now a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a B.S.B.A in Business Administration, a B.S. in Computer Science, and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Last summer, I was a summer intern for the Office of Equity and Inclusion of Lexington, KY where I conducted 8 weeks of research including interviews with 20+ government officials and community stakeholders to identify equity implementation strategies in healthcare, education, housing, law & justice, and economic development and delivered a 53-page equity implementation plan to the City Council of Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.I joined Sigma Nu Fraternity, where I serve as the recruitment chair, social chair, and pledge class president. I organize and lead over 50 recruitment and social events per year for a pledge class of 25, a fraternity of 94, and 300+ prospective members, managing all aspects from concept to execution.I have worked for four years at Yellowfin Pub in Morehead City, North Carolina as a waiter and bar cashier. I have also received the Governor's Volunteer Service Award and the President's Volunteer Service Award four times. I am conversational in Spanish.
