I currently am a Distribution Engineer for Alabama Power. I have experience with the preparation of work estimates to provide service to new customers, to maintain and to improve the electrical distribution system. I have helped with troubleshooting, resolving customer service issues and working through Line crew Operations. I have experience with after business hours duties for local storm response. Some past experience involves working for the City of Opelika, Power Services Department (OPS). As the GIS/Distribution Engineer, I developed and implemented procedures to track changes on power and fiber GIS maps, as well as interpreting and constructing engineering plans into the maps. I managed service orders for the fiber optic network and assigned them to field technicians. I also helped assist with power and fiber restoration projects. I am also a graduate (May 2017) of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, ECE Dept. with a Bach. in Electrical Engineering. I have a strong desire to be successful with my career and I am always looking for challenging opportunities. I believe communication, efficiency and innovation are important aspects of engineering, as well as being committed to find each solution that is achievable.My father, employers and professors have been great mentors.
