• Created NLP on TPP: Multilingual Sentiment Analysis on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This pipeline allows users to quickly and inexpensively examine how a keyword (TPP) is being perceived differently in different languages (English, Japanese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian / Malay) and across time zones. • The pipeline mines Twitter for a keyword TPP in multiple languages; translates them into English (Google Translate API); assigns a sentiment value to each tweet(TextBlob); analyzes n_grams, TF, and TF-IDF using NLP (NLTK); graphs cosine similarity (networkx); and uses a Random Forest model to extract most influential adjectives and nouns by subset (SKlearn).• Wrote publication-ready report on the findings from the project.• The coursework of the twelve week Data Science Intensive bootcamp focused on industry data sets for real business problems including: predict churn, click-through rates, fraud detection, and wrangling ugly datasets in individual, pair, and group environments. • Skills gained include a working knowledge of Python, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NLTK, GIt, Matplotlib, MongoDB, Beautiful Soup, Networkx, MapReduce, UNIX, and how to present results tailored to different audiences.
