The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA, program is a service provided by the Internal Revenue Service for low to medium-income taxpayers. The IRS coordinates the services at community tax preparation sites. It's a service provided for anyone needing help understanding their tax returns. I was selected into the program through a rigorous admissions process, and currently, I'm certified through the IRS to provide these services.
