Being the lead innovator in the digital recruiting space, HireVue's product is disrupting the way people think about and engage in talent acquisition. Here's what I accomplished during my tenure at HireVue.- HireVue removed a core product from its offering. The website collateral associated with this product accounted for about 33% of the total number of pages on the site and about approximately 40% of the site's annual traffic. - With the removal of the aforementioned product, the site was forecasted to lose approximately 40% its traffic. This meant fighting an uphill battle. By implementing supplementary strategies and tactics, I managed to not only maintain traffic but end the year with a 35% increase in YoY organic users. Performing in-house SEO management for an industry innovator has unique challenges:- I must create search demand as leveraging existing high-volume keywords isn't always an option. Because we're asking our customers to reimagine their hiring process, we're conceptualizing and creating new words and products for the industry, not just adopting existing industry keywords.-Competitor analysis does not always provide clear growth opportunities. Because some of our products and features are new and completely unprecedented, mimicking our competition would be a step backward.- There is no golden competitor providing a template for success. SEOs often look to their bigger and better competitors for a recipe of digital success. HireVue does not have this because we lead the industry and are expected provide this template for others.As SEO Manager, my focus begins at the top of the funnel where content is optimized for maximum relevant exposure and ends at the bottom where UX and body copy gets reviewed, A/B tested and adjusted inorder to maximize conversions.

Epic Marketing is a full-service agency that has recently introduced digital services. I was hired tomanage and fulfill SEO and help grow the digital department.
