* GIS Application Development: Design and develop interactive maps online for campus clients. Includes public map sites which provide building information, campus construction updates, campus accessibility information and campus parking information. Other internal mapping applications include a secure application for the Mizzou Botanical Gardens based on the MOBOT data model which enables campus arborists and botanists to enter location-based botanical data via their web browser. Additionally I designed a secure application for Campus Facilities staff to view campus floorplans and room data for all campus buildings. * GIS Project Management for Campus Facilities: Various CF departments rely on GIS for their operations using our detailed base map as well as customized data layers which we build specific to their operational needs. We provide route maps for snow removal and mowing operations within Landscape Services, site maps for Construction Services, detailed surface maps for Facility Operations, crew maps for Custodial Services and many more complex and customized maps on demand. I am personally tasked with designing all published maps produced for the university, including Visitor Maps, Parking Maps, Kiosk Maps, phonebook maps and the Master Plan illustrative map for the annual Campus Master Plan brochure. I also provide a variety of customized presentation-quality maps for other campus departments including athletics event parking maps, wayfinding maps and project study maps for planners and designers.* Supervise GIS Technician: Our GIS department is staffed by myself and one other full-time staff member who works under my direct supervision. We work closely to perform ongoing data maintenance, improve the data schema according to the evolving needs of our clients and to ensure the accuracy of our campus base map.
