Performs various duties relative to the conducting of District Court proceedings and ensuring that all necessary legal documents relative to the proceedings are in order. Provides information and assistance to the judge, court personnel, attorneys and the general public. Reviews legal documents to verify accuracy and/or conformance with court rulings. Enters into a computer or other records, the daily accounts of court proceedings, following established recording practices. Performs legal research as requested by the judge and various clerical functions as required. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Administered intake interviews and drafted essential estate-planning documents for Oakland County residents under the supervision of a practicing attorney, as permitted under MCR 8.120. Documents drafted include, Medical Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney, and Wills.
