Below is a list of projects I completed as part of the program:Virtual Vending Machine :Developed in Java using OOP fundamentals and file I/O support for changing inventory using .csv files.Software was able to keep inventory, provide change in coins, keep an input log, and accept user input via CLI.Mock Money Transfer Service Application (TEnmo) :Developed in Java using PostgreSQL, MVC fundamentals, and implementing a RESTful API. Software was able to communicate between client and software application, support user authentication for requesting and sending money to other users, and manage updates between accounts on a locally hosted database server.Children's Video Game Database (The Gaming Index) :Server developed in Java using PostgreSQL, MVC fundamentals, and implementing a RESTful API. Client website developed using Vue.js and Axios adhering to HTML/CSS/JavaScript principles. Full stack application allowed users to register/login with a website, search for child-friendly games by name or display a random game, and view detailed information. Users were also able to manage reviews, comments, and personal lists for a game. All game data was retrieved from a 3rd party API (IGDB) on the backend and saved to the database to reduce network traffic. Show less
