I am an alumni of the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Business Analytics, a concentration in Information Management and a goal of being an airline pilot. One of my greatest strengths is communication because I truly love getting to know people through in-person conversation. During my past job at a marina, I was always complimented on how inviting and easy to talk to I was. Another one of my strengths is problem-solving because of my ability to fix most tough issues in high pressure situations. Working as a lineman at an airport can be very chaotic and using problem-solving in situations such as miss scheduled aircraft or figuring out a way to make the most of hanger space, this strength is very helpful. Although my degree is Business Analytics, my goal after college is to become an airline pilot. I was always set on getting my college degree but it is extremely expensive to get an aviation degree so I found a school I loved, could afford, and would get a well-rounded education in. I have been working at an airport during the summer for the past few years and have just recently earned my private pilot's license. During the next few summers, I will continue to work on my aviation ratings and start instructing as soon as possible. When I earn enough flight hours to become eligible to apply for airline jobs, I will begin my search and be very excited to start the next chapter of my life.
