Conducted a structural design review of wooden shipping pallets used for shipping sheeted card at the Whakatane paperboard mill. This work included testing and modeling the material properties of the low grade lumber used and producing a full report including my findings and design recommendations.I also did some general mechanical engineering design work, such as specificying a high viscosity fixative pump, and CAD modelling for the on-site engineering office.
