Since beginning with Jawl Properties I have reported directly to the Construction Project Manager and the Director of the company. This multi-faceted role has given me the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the business conducted in the boardroom and on-site. During a typical week I perform two job roles, one being a Project Coordinator on-site, and the other being a Development Analyst in the office. Key Responsibilities for my role as a Project Coordinator include:• Managing the review of all changes to contracts, ensuring only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.• Developing and maintaining relationships with key project and community stakeholders through the provision of detailed monthly reports, attending progress meetings, and acting as an initial point of contact within the organization.• Assisting the Project Manager in the drafting and issuance of RFP’s, tenders, budgets, and issuing contracts.Key Responsibilities for my role as a Development Analyst include:• Managing the design and development of new marketing materials for capital projects. • Assisting in all financing and refinancing activities through the production of financial overviews for our various projects. This includes building income projections, compiling rent rolls, and procuring consultant services.• Company representative for all community events that take place at the Atrium (located at 800 Yates Street). This includes managing event proposals, meeting with organizers, communicating with the building tenants and staff, all the while ensuring the events are in line with our community-oriented objectives for the space.
