Designed, fabricated, and tested a microfluidic device that immobilizes a zebrafish embryo and submits it to two spatially divided flows of media containing growth factors. Developed a device capable of visualizing cancerous and pre-cancerous tissue within the oral cavity. Cancer cells were selectively transduced to display GFP via a viral vector. The detection device excited the fluorophores and detected the resultant fluorescence, indicating the presence of cancerous or pre-cancerous cells.

Created circuit board layouts, functional block diagrams, and wiring diagrams for Cablecam, a high definition, triaxial gimbal system used to obtain overhead camera shots. Produced inventory lists for circuit board components, prepared wire harnesses for lab testing, and soldered jumpers onto prototype circuit boards.
