I have a degree in Biological Sciences (BA) from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), having worked as a CNPq scholarship holder at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) during this period. I obtained a Master's degree in Natural Resources of the Cerrado from the State University of Goiás (UEG) and a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from UFG, with international collaboration at the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid, Spain. I am currently a civil servant at the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA), working specifically at the Fire and Emergencies Center (NEF-IBAMA-GO).
