Team created and used all materials in their outreach including one-pagers, scripts, maps, and training write-ups. Outreach was conducted on the phone, via vidchat, through email, and on paper.

• Provided customer service and information to students, families, and community members utilizing the campus center building.• Answered the main desk telephone, used telephone directory, and transferred calls.• Setup events in different parts of the building; took down events and returned equipment to proper place. • Locked down building at night, secured exits and entrances. • Manual work: chair-stacking, moved tables, PA systems moved and set up, operating fireplaces in the building, reorganized technology closets.• Attended weekly staff meetings, brainstormed improvements for the space (physical improvements and improvements in customer service from the employees).• Mentored new hires/trainees.• Trained in presentation technology setup and use, including A/V software, projection, and speakers• Collaborated with student and community groups when faced with issues during an event; provided solutions to those issues either alone, or by reaching out to the resources on campus for assistance• Went on hourly rounds of the whole building, cataloguing things that needed fixing, number of people in the building and areas they were utilizing, and kept a daily log of the goings-on of the building• Planned strategies with Whitman College Security Office prompted by complaints from building-users about disruptive individuals inside/outside the building; carried out those plans put in place• Attended annual training on blood borne pathogens.
