Compile, verify, prepare, and analyze information for reports, exhibits, and recommendations related to rate cases, legislative pronouncements, regulatory tariffs and orders, and finance, accounting, taxation, and / or billing related issues. Duties require strong oral and written communication with other departments and the understanding of their role and how it affects rate making. Extensive use of Microsoft Excel is used daily to organize and present vast amounts of data for analysis.

Responsible for managing and executing annual credit reviews as well as credit account maintenance for commercial and global accounts. Annual credit reviews include detailed analysis of the counterparties’ financial position and short-term credit capacity to effectively mitigate exposure and risk to Phillips 66. Additional, responsibilities include approval, vetting, and maintenance of the counterparties with which Phillips 66 conducts business to remain in compliance with RFS standards: buying and selling of Renewable Identification Numbers. As the primary credit analyst with RIN duties, this has included policy development, staying up-to-date with the biofuel industry standards, continuous process improvement, as well as close work with other departments such as Compliance and Reporting. Due to dual roles supporting both credit evaluation and as a RIN analyst, my experience includes legal contracts, government regulation and mandates, financial statement analysis, accounting and finance knowledge, dashboard maintenance, and quarterly reporting.

Selling personal loans and insurance products, making credit decisions within credit authority, recommending solutions to difficult delinquent accounts, working with account problems, servicing accounts, performing administrative tasks, and assisting the branch manager in basic business development.
