Adventure Us is a YouTube channel + lifestyle travel brand my wife and I created as we traversed the US full-time in our renovated 1979 Airstream. Together we ideated the brand, messaging, identity, positioning, created 6 separate successful cinematic 4K series, built sales funnels, marketing strategy, content creation processes, video + pro audio production teams, and shared our story speaking live to audiences in the tens of thousands.Our best work was showcased through our powerful films, authentic photography, nuanced art direction + design, and unforgettable gatherings.Our Airstream-based mobility allowed us the freedom to take risks most only dream of, all while purveying service + story. The limitations that life on the road came with were fuel to innovate solutions and problem solve under unique and unpredictable circumstances. We kayaked all 2,300 miles of the entire Mississippi River during the summer months of 2011 in exactly 61 days to raise awareness and $100k for children at risk A Wake in the Current is an adventure initiative started by myself, Bowman Hitchens, and Rob Treppendahl. . By committing ourselves to a life of simplicity, endurance, and humility, we've raised & donated $47,000 thus far to The Gardere Community Christian School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and ICM in Oxford, Mississippi.Be on the lookout for our documentary series and book due to be released before 2021.
