May Construction Jan 1977 - Present
Greg May, UDCR, (Universal Design Certified Remodeler) has lived in San Jose since 1976, and began working in construction shortly thereafter. As a teenager, Greg spent his weekends and summers working with his father who instilled in him the belief that details and customer satisfaction were the cornerstone to a successful business, and has continued his family's tradition of excellence since. Together with his wife, business manager Debbie May, the company brings integrity and honesty to client relations and pride of workmanship to every project. His passion and commitment continues today, still enjoying the sense of satisfaction and pride it brings when a project is completed. Greg’s unique approach to project management and open communication virtually eliminates the stress that can come with remodeling. He has instituted weekly project meetings with clients and key team members, and holds weekly staff meetings in which all staff members share details about every project so everyone has the information needed to provide the client with a smooth transition throughout their project. Greg and his staff have worked hard to streamline operations during every phase of a remodeling project. This has resulted in projects being organized well before a start date, and project schedules being developed and updated on a regular basis so clients know when things are happening, and when they can expect their project to be completed.Through the effort and dedication of everyone at May Construction, Greg is proud to say they have received the Diamond Certified award for over 10 consecutive years.Greg and Debbie are married with five children and still live in the same neighborhood he was raised in. He enjoys golf, bowling and is very active in his church as an Elder, Chairman of his church’s congregation and head of the churches Leadership Committee. He also serves on the Thrivent Community Silicon Valley Group Board.
