Growing up I spent most of my early years in an interesting and multicultural environment. This gave me a broad perspective in building relationships, and always thinking of the positives and possibilities rather than the problems and shortcomings. I owe this to my father. He was always about solutions and not problems. Back home, I went to an all girls American Missionary Institution (Damavand College) that had an exceptional, educational program focused on leadership for women with a heavy emphasis on ethics and code of honor. In addition to giving us a great undergraduate and graduate education in Liberal Arts and Social Studies, Damavand College taught us a great degree of accountability, high sense of self value, and goal setting disciplines to make sure that we, as women of our society's future, are empowered to take any leadership role. I consider myself a great manager for the people who are motivated, and have a good sense of who they are, and where they want to be in life. I strongly believe in empowering people, setting clear goals, giving my team members chances and opportunities to shine. As a supportive mentor, I hold my team members accountable for what they do, and what they commit themselves to. For 2020, I would like to increase my portfolio revenue another 10%. I also want to continue efforts in recognizing my team members' strength, and promote continuing education. Self education has always been a big personal commitment of mine. I would like to identify the gaps in our operations, and make sure that they are filled. Our industry has changed to a great deal. It is up to us to keep up with the changes, and understanding them as they are in order to produce better results.
