Born in 1984, when personal computers were still a distant luxury, and were only used for playing games at home. In the late 1990s I had become a confused teenager, who had no clue as to what she wanted to do, but who still had good command of many skills and interests; swimming, music, languages and mathematics.As I graduated with a BA in Linguistics and Translation from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University in 2005, an immense interest in translation and languages slowly started to form in my head. But it wasn’t until I translated J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, and started working in HR / Communications field that I knew how it feels to do what you like and like what you do. I grew even fonder in the world of business after my Executive MBA graduation in February 2016. It is true; I do enjoy translation and perfecting every task I’m working on, timely and befittingly. I like communicating and supporting others, and feel my best when I get a sincere “Well Done!”.
