As part of the Global Marketing Communications team for the Kenwood Brand HQ, the key role entails planning and delivery of engaging consumer-focused content for the local subsidiaries to use across all media channels.

Strategic review and management of the Choppers product portfolio

Working in the Global Headquarters to successfully deliver new products worldwide (in key food preparation and breakfast categories) to drive sales and the Kenwood brand. Full support to the project team throughout the whole product development process, from concept all the way to production. Championing the voice of the consumer through researching techniques, segmentation and analysing customer feedback, in order to support defining the consumer requirements throughout the whole product development. Manage and develop product marketing assets including packaging, launch packs, product renders/photography, to maximise an effective launch. Global market research and data analysis through GFK and Internal SAP systems/reports, to evaluate the key markets and identify key focus areas for growth. Liaising with office-based and non-office based colleagues including the industrial designers, project managers, global trade marketing, local markets (EU, APA, MEIA) and external agencies.Trends outlook through attending International exhibitions, conferences, shows and Mintel reports, presentations.

12 month's experience as Marketing Assistant for a B2B energy consultancy as part of my placement year. Working within a small marketing team with a focus on supporting the Sales Department, my duties covered a range of elements including Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing and Events Management in order to generate new leads and maintain client retention. Throughout the year, my main responsibilities included content creation, delivering marketing campaigns and coordinating their events. Also gained valuable experience in managing the company website, improving SEO and general ad-hoc duties, such as updating the internal database. Whilst managing individual projects, as Marketing Assistant there was great responsibility in supporting other departments to deliver the company's long-term goals.
