• Develop, update and maintain an overview of all Educational Development Projects in the Middle East and Africa, related to the scope of services.• Develop full working knowledge of projects with regular monitoring of projects' progress, challenges and accomplishments.• Maintain and strengthen a high-functioning and collaborative working relationship with partners and stakeholders on project related matters.• Build strong and collaborative relationships with projects' teams and ensure coordination of projects’ teams to implement work plans and deliver high impact results.• Act as the contact person in and out for the associated consultants, companies and project stakeholders.• Ensure that all activities are being executed, monitor and assess implementation progress.• Assist project teams in timely completion of projects.• Prepare regular work plans in cooperation with Managers.

 Coordinating and organizing workshops, meetings and capacity building activities for project partners in the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the private sector at regional and national level. Cooperating with a broad range of target groups (companies, vocational schools, government entities, private sector entities at national and regional level). Planning and monitoring the activities and results on component level. Assists national and international short-term experts assigned to the component in completing their tasks. Coordinating with the GIZ office on the mode of service delivery. Carrying out activities, research and reporting tasks independently. Support national and international short-term experts in Training needs assessment and training packages development. Drafting Terms of References needed for Short term assignments.  Managing confidential files, specifically in the areas of personnel and finance. Assists in drawing up reports and translations and establishes component database. Monitoring and follow-up the training process in different locations. Organizes and updates component documentation.

 Assist the PIU Director in managing, overseeing, and unifying outcomes for the implementation of the programme's three components in compliance with the programme overall/specific objectives, activities, expected results, and outputs; Assist the PIU Director in liaising with the EU, Egyptian authorities, and all stakeholders and maintaining continuous collaborative relationship through engagement of stakeholders and all relevant TVET institutions toward the objectives of the programme; Supervise and contribute to the implementation of services carried out by the contractors and ensure timely execution of activities and the achievement of expected results; Management of all the steps in the procurement and contracting process for each procurement activity foreseen under the three components of the Programme; Review all the tender dossiers for all types of procurement (e.g. services, supplies and grants) Providing the components with the support in the administration of tendering procedures including publication of notices, launching invitation to tenderers and organization of evaluation committees. Maintaining awareness about changes in the EU regulations concerning the programme estimates and the contracting procedures. Assist in dealing with questions and claims related to procurement and contract preparation.  Follow up the development and implementation of infrastructure rehabilitation services in selected TVET institutions. Contribute to develop and implement the programme communication and visibility plan in collaboration with the communication/visibility team and in accordance with the Egyptian and EU guidelines
