My paintings include cultural icons and the animal world. My multi-media installations and large scale permanent public art commissions reference each site's specific history and address untold narratives of marginalized peoples, the decimation of the natural world as well as historic events.In my role as an art educator, I support students' unique interests and skills and encourage their research and experimentation to enlarge their vision.

Baltimore, Maryland

Artist-in-Residence, working with graduate students at Rinehart School of Sculpture, Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD for Fall semester, 2017 and Spring Semester, 2018.

Studio faculty member for the Palau Freedom Memorial, where Fine Arts and Design students collaborate to design a unique and culture-sensitive memorial for the people of Palau, Micronesia to honor the Palauan veterans who have been serving in the U.S. military since the Vietnam War.
