At South Carolina Legal Services, our team strives to bridge the gap in societal inequality through legal aid, leveraging my degree in Politics and International Affairs and Poverty Studies from Furman University. My role as a Paralegal has allowed me to expand on my prior knowledge and gain hands-on legal experience. I believe my competencies in mentoring and problem-solving have allowed me to flourish at Legal Services. Previously interning for the Honorable Claria Horn Boom, I gained invaluable courtroom experience, furthering my understanding of the judicial system. As I prepare for law school, my commitment to social justice is fueled by a passion for understanding the social determinants of health and combating poverty.
