So it is of interest to study their interfacial properties. Interfacial properties are studied by using various thermodynamic models by predicting interaction parameters of interactions between surfactant and hydrotropes. Industrial formulations such as cosmetics and pesticides cleaning liquids, usually have hydrotropes in combinations with surfactants. Hydrotropes are the shear controlling agents in such formulations so it I have involved in studying Newtonian –Non –newtonian characteristic of hydrotrope surfactant mixtures.Pattern Studies.

Worked As Research Chemist for GE INDIA TECHNOLOGY CENTRE {6-11-2000 26-12-2001) As instrument in charge of Perkin Elmer FTIR (GX series spectrophotometer Autoimage microscope).Involved with standardisation of Perkin Elmer GX series spectrometer. Single reflection diamond ATR assembly, Autoimage microscope Heated platen assembly for polymer film preparation. Worked with IR search software Quant+ for database generation for quantitative estimation. And %Polymer characterisation of polymer material by film making technique, Completated First six sigma project. Increasing throughput of FTIR using ATR assembly lab productivity was increased by reducing of analysis time.Completed second six sigma projects of recovery and estimation for formaldehyde on fabric. The SOP of the project was written with time. The project was completed in 99.1 hr. Efforts were calculated for project planning as well as project execution and environmental health safety

I have been granted a research fellowship with the Polymer Dept at HINDUSTAN LEVER REASEARCH CENTER. The project was Adsorption of polymers on various charged surfaces. Antidandruff agents in shampoo formulation show poor adsorption on hair. Certain kind of the polymers was expected to facilitate delivery and adsorption of these agents on hair. The studies have been carried out to evaluate these polymers as functional delivery agents. In addition attempts were made to study the mechanism of delivery and uptake. Charged surfaces like hair and skin show a characteristics electro kinetic potential. The adsorption of polymers and anti dandruff agent modifies the surface characteristics hence electrokinetic potential. I have been involved with evaluating the adsorption using electro kinetic analyser as well as polymer-surfactant interactions.
