CurrentPresently Involved in undergraduate teaching Engineering Chemistry to Engineering students.• Invited as Resource person at UGC AS College of Mumbai University to give lecture on Nanoscience using POGIL. Invited to be member of INCHO Examination board 2013 and 2014 (Indian National Olympiad) responsible for paper setting and evaluation Invited as participant in workshop on generation (Resourse generation Camp) of Theory and Practical questions for the Indian Chemistry Olympiad held at HBCSE-TIFR in Nov 2011Invited as an examiner in OCSC camp to select the students for International Olympiad 2013 . In JULY 2014 I have presented a paper at international conference ICCE-2014 On Chemistry Education Toronto Canada for Oral Presentation (IUPAC ACS)POGIL inspired teaching methodology for effective teaching of Applied Chemistry to First year engineering students of technological institutes in India. In 2013 i have presented paper on Extension EducationBhat Maya;Chudhari,Malhar,Survesh,Patkar;”ADAPTATION OF INDUSTRIAL ORIENTATION PROJECT OF DLLE AS TOOL FOR PURSUING HIGHER STUDIES IN TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE “at Extension Education international conference organised by ICSSR and Mumbai university.2013.Current research interestCleaning detergent products have hydrotrope and surfactant mixtures. So it is of interest to study their interfacial properties. Interfacial properties are studied by using various thermodynamic models by predicting interaction parameters of interactions between surfactant and hydrotropes. Industrial formulations such as cosmetics and pesticides cleaning liquids, usually have hydrotropes in combinations with surfactants. Hydrotropes are the shear controlling agents in such formulations so it I have involved in studying Newtonian –Non –newtonian characteristic of hydrotrope surfactant mixtures.Pattern Studies.
