Part of a team of 4 lawyers in charge of the Crossborder Federal pole of the Group Crédit Agricole (14 entities with worldwide exposure)-Regulatory advice and issuance of cross-border manuals (for banking and investment services) on all countries part of the commercial strategy of the Bank;-Providing mandatory trainings to business lines on cross-border risks for each product type and/or marketing conduct of sales forces towards foreign jurisdictions;-Committee Member on onboarding and annual review of External Assets Managers for the Bank including but not limited to local and foreign licensing checks, remuneration schemes and prospecting model;-Validating credit facilities decision (Lombard, syndicated or others) from a crossborder standpoint based on client classification (QI, Retail);-Review of marketing documentation in light of local and foreign jurisdictions requirements;-Emphasis on all United Arab Emirates topics (company set-up, companies law, banking and finance regulation, SPVs).

In charge of launching and developing the firm legal and regulatory offer on financial markets with an emphasis on derivatives products in light of most recent international (EMIR) and Swiss (FMIA) regulatory regimes:• Legal and Regulatory Project Management on Derivatives and Capital Markets• Performing prudential legal audits (instructed by the local regulator/FINMA )• Impact assessment, Gap analysis, Solutions Design and Implementation including documentation repapering for complying with local (FMIA) and international regulations (EMIR, MIFID)• EMIR/FMIA (Swiss) regimes: Margining requirements Initial vs. Variable Margin , Clearing arrangements and other mitigation risks techniques for OTC non-cleared• Resolution Stay provisions under Swiss laws and international based models (ISDA)• Derivatives transactional and structuration skills. Negotiation of derivatives contracts and collateral arrangements based on the ISDA model or Swiss Banking Association Master model

Supervising, managing the legal desk of Global Markets- Trading Desk at NBAD’s group level (local regional GCCs hub and all affiliates and branches overseas including Paris, London, HK, Cayman Islands).
