For this business, I sold small, low-maintenance succulents in pots that I hand-painted myself. I created this fun and engaging innovation to not only help the environment but to also help the students at Clark University find relief from the stress and anxiety that comes with being a college student. Some of the skills that I have learned so far through implementing this business, are sourcing products and product design, marketing my product to college students and advertising on social media, accounting and managing a balance sheet, and sales. I have also learned the value of adaptability and flexibility in business and the importance of utilizing all of my resources to reduce expenses.
