Being promoted as a student leader, I brought in a team of students to fundraise over 2,000 dollars for a nutritional anemia prevention project for families in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Multiple workshops were proposed and present to a board of medical staff and approved in an attempt to promote better living and health within Bauchi State, Nigeria's local communities.

I began within the advanced medicine and public health internship as a student intern, successfully diagnosing a patient from Bauchi State, Nigeria with typhoid fever as well as working with a diligent team of students to present a workshop proposal that promoted ways to prevent typhoid fever in local villages within Bauchi State, Nigeria.

As a member of the Student Advisory Board, I worked alongside high school peers to advocate for student funding and activities to increase student engagement, diversity in academics, and stronger relationships with teachers.

Within the job I worked on time management, team work in regards to getting orders done, customer service working as a cashier at times, and even leadership if my boss had to step out and orders needed to be rung.
