I received my bachelors degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in biomaterials. I went on to study Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Albany Medical College to gain more depth to further develop my overarching goal to work in the medical field. I managed to incorporate my engineering skills as I study basic science by interacting with clinicians to develop and improve medical devices. I work towards my goals relentlessly, adding skills to be a dynamic partner in any setting. I work well with my peers and mentors, and with my background I can provide unique ideas. In my transition from engineering to basic science, I found that I am adaptable and a quick learner, while maintaining my previous skills, allowing me to provide new perspectives.
