SESlines is my way of helping the planet become more aware of endangered species by using them in digital prints that run through each collection. Our first collection is aimed to help the Rhino and the Pangolin. We went to Hangzhou China to set up sustainable manufacturing and got to know the team of hands and minds who are helping to create the clothing. The fabrics we are printing on are organic and/or are Bluesign and OekoTex Certified. Creating solid partnerships with conservationists and a team that is strong is key in collective awakening for a community of consumers. My hope is to meld awareness into the fabric of everyday living, not just about how it’s made but why it’s made and what it stands for. I want to give back to the planet that gives to us every day and to those species that we can help that are dying out.

Organizing swatch library, cleaning up the fashion lab, helping students and answering thier questions, fixing broken industrial style sewing machines, attending to replacing pattern paper and anything else that needs to be restored to order.

I have loved the fashion design department and felt very supported there. They taught me everything I needed to know and helped a lot in promoting me during the senior year fashion show. For my first runway show I incorporated heritage kimonos that have been in my family since before WW2 before they melted down the manufacturing units for the war effort. My mothers family would hire artists who hand dyed, used techniques such as Shibori and silk painting to create these lovely kimonos. They were brought out of storage and used to make one of a kind dresses, tops and skirts for my senior show. I also used my Japanese family crest in my work by laser etching buttons. My inspiration was my regal mother, the elegance of the Geisha and the fabrics themselves. I wish to continue this line and appreciate the school for giving the students and I such wonderful facilities to create visions and dreams into a reality.

Helped with back orders and restocking. Meeting quotas. Tuning into what customers needs and wants were, reading thier feelings. Used sensibility to space and function to set up floor and counter displays. Team worker. Creating relationships with clients and became personal stylist and really cared and listened closely.

Preparing and serving meals, prepared children for bed, story telling, learning activities, supervised childrens safety, nutrition, activities and cleaning/organizing of house. Loved all of them :0)
