As an osteopath, my primary commitment towards my clients' health and well-being sees my advocation for holistic well-being and the importance of educating individuals on the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional health.Who am I?In 2021, I graduated with a master's in osteopathy from Victoria University, during which I worked for a local football club, using my growing osteopathic skills to reduce soft-tissue injury rates. Ever since, I've worked in a busy osteopathy clinic, where I've gained a consistent 10/10 Net Promoter Score client feedback rating and well-rounded experience treating a range of clients.This experience has fuelled my love of educating people about the links between lifestyle and physical health. This passion sparked my move to London from Melbourne in the autumn of 2023 to start my new role as a Technical Training Advisor at Osteopaths For Industry.Having seen first-hand the positive impact of modifying a patient's desk set-up or teaching them safe lifting practices, my role as TTA allows me to promote safe manual handling practice and ergonomics as a key player in musculoskeletal injury prevention. As TTA, I deliver training programmes customised to your organisation's needs. This training could be anything from manual handling training, risk assessment, people moving and handling training, training the trainer, or ergonomic courses. It gives me great pride to directly impact the industry and positively affect people's lives by reducing their risk of injury.
