Las Maestras Center for Xicana[x] Indigenous Thought, Art and Social Praxis is an engaged research center within the department of English at UC Santa Barbara.

Worked with a team of educators to develop a curriculum for a high school students at Cambridge Rindge and Latin.

Making Waves Education Program is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities for underserved youth to gain acceptance to and graduate from four-year colleges and universities, go onto well paying jobs and take on leadership roles in their communities.My focus at Making Waves was primarily in administration and non-profit education management. I served as a Program Assistant, Assistant to the Program Director, and Special Projects Assistant. In my role as College Program Coordinator my focus was leading San Francisco's College Success Team, ensuring our students transition to colleges and universities by building relationships, providing academic guidance, and building collaborative connections with colleges and universities.Key Accomplishments:- Established model for MWEP Summer Leadership Academy, partnered with UC Irvine and UC San Diego.- Established model for MWEP Summerbridge, partnered with UC Berkeley’s Transfer Center. - Developed College Transition and Success Program at MWEP, SF.
