I currently work as a home-health aide for Visiting Angels in Grand Rapids, MI. I visit clients at their homes and complete various tasks such as: cleaning duties, companion care, planned outings, personal care, and many more non-medical tasks.

Grandville Avenue Girls Choir consists of 3rd-5th grade girls from three Grand Rapids Public Schools: Buchanan Elementary, Caesar Chavez, and Southwest Community Campus. During the school year, I rehearse with each school once a week-working on music, self confidence, and giving young girls a voice. Field trips are also arranged throughout the year, which gives each singer the opportunity to build friendships and create memories. In addition, Grandville Avenue Girls Choir also receives recognition at our annual Table Hosted Luncheon from donors, sponsors and other members of Girls Choral Academy. The contributions made by these individuals have covered all expenses for Grandville Avenue Girls Choir members for many years.My career path of Music Education was aspired by the work I do with Grandville Avenue Girls Choir. I lead by example and help these girls unlock their full potential. For the past 4 years on the job, I witnessed the growth in self confidence, performance etiquette, quality of sound, and communication amongst the choral members.
