Northern California

As a specialized subset within HR, our team manages Providence's well-being program and benefits. In my role I manage vendor relationships for our EAP program, diabetes management, nicotine cessation and employee discounts. Create content for our well-being platform and work on companywide communications. Have successfully implemented both a new EAP model as well as an on-site EAP pilot at many sites. I also create content and communication strategies for a diverse healthcare population.

Systemwide

As part of a small team within HR, we designed an award-winning well-being program for120,000 employees and their dependents, and maintained greater than 80% employee wellness program engagement amongst our incentivized population. Managed vendor relationships and built strategic relationships both within and outside the organization.

Northern California

Collaborated with system and local ministries to align workplace policies to culture of health promotion.Attended and provided updates on programs at management team meetings, executive meetings, and other meetings as requested.

San Rafael & Petaluma

Provided education and support to Kaiser Medical Weight Management patients. Facilitated weekly group classes. Also taught other Health Education classes as needed; including Weight Loss Surgery Introduction, Pre-diabetes, and Healthy Weight.

San Francisco Bay Area

Virtual health coaching – counseled issues including weight loss, lifestyle changes, gastrointestinal issues, and more.Contributed content and added to the company’s social media pages. Worked collaboratively with other coaches to ensure we were using best practices.Completed my Master of Public Health while continuing to work for both Vida and Kaiser

Performed initial analysis including body composition, EKG, blood pressure and waist circumference. After the initial meeting, met with patients weekly to coach and guide them in their weight-loss and health goals. Was also involved in training, hiring, and mentoring new employees, and contributing bi-weekly articles on nutrition, fitness and wellness for the company blog.

Prior to the club opening and after grand opening, I was responsible for driving in memberships and member satisfaction. Worked independently and as a part of the sales team to meet sales goals and quotas. Community outreach and promotional responsibilities as well, especially prior to the club's grand opening.
