The University of Colorado Cancer Center is a member of the Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN), a unique research partnership among North America’s top cancer centers leveraging multiple data sources and matching patients to targeted treatments. Screens and approaches potential research participants in coordination with clinic providers and support staff both in clinic and remote. Clinical responsibility of reporting patient consents in patient medical charts along with OnCore research software documentation. Patient care responsibilities include a lifetime documentation of patient medical records with coordination and collection of biospecimens in conjunction with clinical staff and OR staff. Quality assurance and regulated collection of biospecimen are then handed off to biorepository staff for collection. I have helped in the employment of a new streamlined clinical research system of buccal swab collection to help maximize workflow in addition to working with the EPIC team on newly developed consent processes. In compliance with M2Gen, patient clinical history is then abstracted and sent off for future use in genetic derived cancer treatments. I have also been a proponent for study expansion and clinical research development towards minority and under-represented student subjects.

• Maintain the academic integrity of written and online examinations and assessments. • Prepare examination room and testing materials to make sure the testing environment is suitable, secure, and satisfactory to academic integrity standards. • Confirm students’ attendance, read exam instructions, answer questions, give notice of time left for the exam, and document and report any concerns of academic dishonesty.

• Assist veterinary technicians with medical daily treatments, filling prescriptions, preparing lab samples, and hospital emergencies.• Assist in patient check ins, blood draws, catheter placement, and restraining.• Help in comforting patients during medical procedures and helping doctors when needed.

• Assisted in creation of an education and mentorship program for underprivileged minority students interested in the medical profession encompassing ages kindergarten through grade 12. • Consolidated geographical maps of elementary, middle, and high schools located in the Denver area surrounding the Anschutz Medical Campus. • Assisted in partnering students with medical professionals that had a similar cultural backgrounds. Mentors would educate children on their experience working in medical fields that lack diversity. Children were encouraged to explore the educational requirements of a medical professional.

• Organize and restock needed solutions.• Prepare and pour a variety of Nematode Growth Media Agar places when needed.• Prepare biohazardous materials for waste and keep the lab research kitchen clean and stocked at alltimes.
