The role of logistics officer for online sales involved using a cloud-based inventory management software to assign products to customer orders, order out-of-stock art pieces from artists, provide customer service, organise framing, arrange deliveries to customers and manage the large flow of artworks in and out of our warehouse. My few months at the Flour Pot Bakery in Brighton taught me the essentials of catering and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. I learned about customer service, food and drink preparation, as well as being trained in UK food and drink health and safety standards.
