• Collaborated with fishermen, schools and the local community to raise awareness of sharks and rays, and to reinforce their importance to the marine environment. • Collected longline data to create a species distribution map of Boa Vista’s bay. • Created an outdoor cinema club. I sourced and coordinated space for the club, as well as furniture and equipment from external groups.• Organised and promoted an island clean-up campaign. This attracted over 150 people and resulted in the collection of over 400 rubbish bags. • Developed a summer activity programme for children to educate them on the marine ecosystem, sharks and rays.
