I am a Caribbean American Photographer and Content Creator based in New York City passionate about visual storytelling and showcasing my Caribbean roots and the intersectional identities, experiences, and stories of People of color through portraiture.I graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Cinema and Photography and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I also received the prestigious Chawla/Ochoa Academic Award for my first photography book, "Brown Sugar." This collection of intimate photographs and self-directed portraits of Black individuals explores and challenges the portrayal of Black bodies in American media. The project aimed to redefine self-love centered around Blackness.With over 4 years of experience in social media marketing, management, and content creation, I bring a comprehensive skill set to every project. I am proficient in various software applications including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Google Ad Manager, Asana, PowerPoint, Excel, Slack, and Mailchimp.
