As an assistant in the SCD Lab, I perform a wide range of duties including scheduling participants, inputting data, coding experiments, running experiments, and general upkeep of our lab. I am also currently working on my own study with the help of other students and the faculty advisor of the lab.

In the Gevirtz Graduate School of education I am working with Dr. Diana Arya on the Curie-Osity Project. This project aims to link literacy with the STEM fields by introducing both to girls in the 4th-6th grade. Additionally, it is facilitated by female undergraduate students who introduce the girls to successful women in the STEM fields. By doing this, our project empowers the girls to take interest in science, math, engineering, and technology.

At Deveruex I worked with several clients with a wide range of psychological and behavioral disorders. My job included helping them run errands, modeling appropriate behaviors, administering medications, and offering any additional support the clients needed in order to help them maintain the best quality of life possible.

As a white water raft guide my job had two key components; make sure the clients have fun, but also make sure they are safe. This job taught me lots of skills that transfer to my daily life such as the ability to think quickly and react to situations, problem solving, people skills, and how to maintain a balance of fun and responsibility.
