On august 1st 2020 I became the director of Balance Blended Learning, a new business unit of the Balance Consultancy Group, an experienced consultancy firm based in Curacao and active on all islands of the Dutch Caribbean.As a passionate educator with more than 25 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator, and developer of tailor made learning programs, I will focus my energy on expanding our multilingual training, coaching and online learning activities in the region.My training assignments on all six islands of the Dutch Caribbean include programs in the fields of customer service, professional and personal development, HR management, communication, leadership, coaching, team building and dealing with difficult and aggressive behavior.Together with a great team of Caribbean and Dutch professionals, I will now be developing tailor made, blended learning programs, that combine traditional training methods with modern digital learning tools for commercial companies, government organizations and schools.As a passionate community member, I started the GreenKidz Foundation in 2015, together with Ivonne Zegveld. Aiming to change the mindset of generations, I am proud to say that our GreenKidz team reached thousands of students in primary and secondary education on Curacao in de last 5 years.As a full time director of Balance Blended Learning, I will step down as GreenKidz director but continue to coordinate GreenKidz and other educational projects in the future, focusing on the development of E-books, E-learns and E-games for students throughout the Dutch Caribbean.
