I am currently a senior at Pleasant Plains High School, but I plan to attend Loras College in the fall of 2021. In furthering my education, I hope to achieve a Master's Degree in teaching and/or English. My future plans, after college, are to become a secondary school teacher, and maybe even a professor one day. Along with the betterment of my education, I also plan to play collegiate volleyball at Loras.I would describe myself as someone who is hard-working, responsible, and organized. My best effort is put into everything I do, and I show persistence in all my endeavors. My responsibility is reflected through my 10+ years of balancing school, sports, family, friends, and self all at the same time. My organization skill exceed those of others, and I take pride in it. From my closet, to my car, to my daily planner, everything is perfectly in order.I would also say I am a leader in many aspects. I always try to set an exemplary example for others and let my kindness show through. I hold positions like President of the National Honors Society and have won awards for my academic and athletic excellence. I have experience leading in the classroom, but also on the volleyball court, as a captain of almost every team I have had the privilege of playing on, which adds up to around ten teams.I am looking to be a part of a community where kindness and encouragement are key components. Success does not happen alone, and I hope that wherever I end up is a place where I can be myself and help others do the same, while also thriving in my enviornment career wise.
