I am a proud Mother to two children under 7, one of whom has a rare genetic condition 'IQsec2-Associated Neurodevelopmental disorder'. Currently completing my honours year at the University of Melbourne, under supervision of Dr Danya Vears in Biomedical Ethics at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. My part time role is in administration at Syndromes Without A Name (SWAN), providing peer support for families with Undiagnosed or Rare Genetic Conditions. My personal advocacy spans research, policy reform, and community engagement, aiming for a more inclusive future for all children. Through capacity-building approaches, I strive to empower and uplift, leaving a lasting impact on society, particularly in Paediatric Rare Disease. Separately, I own and run RareWear Australia; An adaptive clothing brand.
