As a driven and curious pre-med student with a passion for the outdoors, I am constantly seeking ways to combine my love for nature with my desire to pursue a career in medicine. Co-op work experience as an EMT in Boston and a nursing aide in Colorado solidified my commitment to becoming a physician. My interest in wilderness medicine specifically has led me to obtain certification as a Wilderness EMT and participate in many relevant lecture series. Furthermore, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to research, developing my research skills in a variety of projects ranging from analyzing the intersection of COVID-19 and cancer to investigating religious appropriation in wellness culture. Beyond the classroom, I love traveling, hiking, climbing, and anything that gets me outside.
