Within this position, I assisted in developing new relevant projects on discrimination such as LGBTQIA+ rights, anti-racism, and the promotion of women's rights. Most importantly, I led the City's cooperation with ECCAR (European Coalition of Cities Against Racism) and pushed for the creation of a French cooperation with 15 different municipalities. This partnership permitted us to collaborate on solutions against political barriers when dealing with projects against racism.This experience instilled great knowledge of the legislation on sexual and sexist violence, the inner workings of a local associative network and on the development of political strategies. Additionally, I was trusted to lead awareness events in high schools, as part of the effort to spread a tool created in-house: the barometer on domestic violence. This tool was used as a framework for sexual and affective education workshops. Lastly, I was also responsible for impact studies. Namely, I was tasked with creating questionnaires and other ways of collecting data. I also treated, analysed, and developed solutions from the data. To conclude my experience was three-fold: I gained management experience, developed my data analysis skills, and acquired first-hand experience in leading educational and awareness events.

This experience taught me how to effectively coordinate a team, as well as coordinate and co-create with other organisations (European NGOs) on the construction of a project. I was able to gain strong managerial and organisational skills. It also made me highly familiar with the process of getting EU funding through the Horizon Europe process. This was built on three parts: Excellence of the methodology and underlying assumptions; Impact on the relevant population and wider society and Quality and Efficiency of the project, ie financial sustainability.
