This position allowed me to mentor 2 international first-year students as they transitioned from around the world to life at Miami University and in the United States. Through workshops, weekly check-ins, and activities, I shared information about my personal experience at Miami and living in the United States, as well as general social and cultural norms.

Through this position, I facilitated 86 small groups for first-year students' summer orientation. I mentored over 160 incoming students by meeting individually with students, addressing concerns, answering questions, and sharing my Miami experience. Additionally, I informed students about Miami resources and college necessities.
