Providing demonstrations for undergraduate classes in analogue photographic processes including: *loading b&w film into 35mm cameras*loading 35mm and 120mm b&w film into Paterson developing tanks*b&w film processing*use of enlargers and general dark room practicesProviding safety /equipment orientations for both classes and individuals, checking equipment in our digital lab and studio spaces, and liaising with both students and faculty regarding use of the space.Responsible for replenishing chemistry for film processing and tray development, as well as looking after the department's Kreonite machine whilst on shift.Creating video demonstrations for the visual art and photography departments - including demos on how to video document artwork / exhibitions, and use of the Pentax K1000 SLR camera. This has involved filming footage of objects and processes using DSLR and video cameras, and video editing in Premier Pro.

I run lessons as an independent instructor, most recently running a 4 week Introduction to Etching course at Dundarave Print Workshop in Vancouver, Canada.I also create illustrations for publications, zines and websites, as well as original products which I sell through my own online shop.I'm currently open for commissions, feel free to get in touch if you would like to commission a drawing or a print!

Providing demonstrations for undergraduate students in a number of printmaking processes including:*Intaglio - etching using copper and ferric chloride, spit bite, aquatint, sugar lift, a la poupee inking*Relief - lino cut, mixing ink and rainbow rolls*Collagraph - a la poupee inking, working with intaglio inking in combination with relief rolls*Screenprinting - including making digital transparencies, working with hand drawn transparencies, monoserigraphie techniques, split fountain and gradient ink pulls*Etching press set up for various processes*Multi plate registration techniques*Paper prep and making registration sheetsProviding safety and equipment orientations for both classes and individuals, maintaining equipment in the Print Media studio space, keeping MSDS information up to date, ordering supplies, and liaising with both students and faculty regarding use of the space.Managing one work study student, giving specialised training in processes and techniques as well as delegating various daily tasks needed for general studio upkeep.Putting together kits for online and hybrid classes.Creating video demonstrations for a number of techniques - including demos on using the rosin box and the aquatint process; sugarlift; basics of screenprinting; 2 colour screenprint registration, split fountain and gradient ink pulls; plate prep for etching with copper; application of ImagOn for photo-intaglio; inking collagraph plates a la poupee; and basics of etching press set up - with more in the works. This involves filming footage of processes using video cameras, and video editing in Premier Pro. I am working to create a database of videos which students can access whilst in the space by scanning QR codes placed on or near work areas and equipment.

Providing demonstrations for 200 and 300 level undergraduate classes in intaglio, relief, digital, monoprint and screenprinting processes. Providing individual out of class support to BFA and MFA students in a number of techniques.Managing the Print Media Research Centre, including providing safety and equipment orientations for both classes and individuals, ordering and replenishing materials, and liaising with both students and faculty regarding use of the space.Responsible for scheduling and supervising four 'work learn' students in both the PRC store and PRC print studio. This involved establishing regular duties for each student worker, as well as working with them on creating individual tasks relevant to their goals and skills. During the remote work period after March 2020, this involved setting up regular check ins to replace previous face-to-face interactions. I encouraged collaborative work between techs and work learns, and oversaw the creation of resources for future work learn students. Organised and conducted exit interviews at the end of their contracts.Looked after the BFA studio spaces. This included allocating and reassigning studio spaces, giving safety orientations, and making weekly check ups of the area to ensure safety protocols were being followed by studio occupants.Actively involved in COVID-19 planning, providing area-specific recommendations for safe access to campus. Organised limited campus access for 4th year BFA students to collect belongings from studio spaces during campus lockdown as a result of COVID-19.

As of June 2017 - this role has been carried out remotely. I have taken a back seat when it comes to assistant coordinator responsibilities, but continue to give guidance in regard to printmaking techniques, processes and planning for sessions involving printmaking.-Running printmaking sessions-Writing and sending newsletters -Fundraising - eg. writing text for applications-Set up JustTextGiving account to add to existing fundraising efforts-Meeting potential fundraisers and people interested in collaborating on projects-Marketing for SIW via social media-Documentation of workshops and finished artworks-Creating registers for each session and writing up short summaries of work carried out in each session.-Provide photographs used for marketing eg Loughborough Creatives exhibition flyer

-Providing technical cover in the print studio at Central St Martins-Giving guidance in intaglio, relief printing, screenprinting, monotype and lithography techniques, as well as with bookbinding and frame making-Ensuring health and safety protocols are upheld by the students, and are properly in place within the studio environment-Maintenance of both the studio space and equipment where necessary-Laying out of materials and equipment where necessary, incl. mixing of acid for etching

-Checking/tracking stock-Organising stock room and replenishing classroom stock cupboards-Ensuring classrooms are set up for each lesson-Responsible for lending out equipment -Established an equipment borrowing log and department budgeting spreadsheet -Responsible for music department displays within class rooms and practice areas-Ensuring equipment in music and practice rooms is respected and returned to the correct place-Responsible for opening practice rooms for students during lunch break and closing up of the music/practice rooms once vacated

Currently running a print project (Oct 2013 + ongoing) using various print techniques, which will include taking a small group to use a local print studio to introduce them to more difficult processes.Ran print project using styrofoam block printing technique to make xmas cards (December 2012)Gave support to children while making work for various projects run by the organisation. Setting up sessions and clean up.

Worked both one to one and in groups with S.E.N. (Special Educational Needs) children. Provided main support in core subjects as well as in other topic work. Created supporting resources dependent on ability and needs of each child, as well as using creative thinking during taught time to give child more support in accessing lessons. Recorded my use of strategies and progress of children daily in either S.E.N Statement or SA+ log books as well as using Behaviour log for some children. Photocopying. Created classroom displays. Created school play backdrops. Ran 2 art clubs, animation club, balloon modelling club and cooking club.

Organised Papergirl London event; including marketing,putting out a call for submissions,curating an exhibition of submitted work,posting submitted work on both flickr and tumblr,organising private view and distribution of work after the exhibition.

-Ran a series of drawing and printing sessions with local primary school children.-Created lesson plans with clear set of outcomes and links to curriculum.-Helped to curate an exhibition of the work made as part of the project.-Took primary school children around the Fine Art degree show, prompting and encouraging discussions about the work and how it was displayed.

Painted the faces of both children and adults, looked after money, answered queries from the public, dealt with customer issues in a calm manner.
